Grand Simplicities Closes

Grand Simplicities Closes

My most recent show at the Ned in Jackson, TN, Grand Simplicities: Inspired by Eudora Welty, closes Monday October 29, and this is 2018. It has been a wonderful experience. I was able to visit Eudora's home with my mostest bestest friend in Jackson, MS and then she surprised me by coming to the opening (whereupon I screamed out loud for the first time ever). I so appreciate this opportunity. Thank you Jackson.

You should try it!  The Forest Unseen is a show I developed in 2015 based on a book of the...

Open House

Open House

The Big Bold Bloom Wild Painting Series developed in response to Lynn Whipple's online class by that name. We are all avid "Bloomers" now and love painting with acrylics in this loose and colorful fashion with a dash of mixed media. Encaustic is a method of creating artwork with a wax based medium. It is historically one of the oldest methods of painting. Pigmented or clear wax is melted and layered on to create a wonderful...
